TDS competition is a great way for a dance student to further their dance training through fun, yet challenging rehearsals. Our mission behind competing is to provide students with more performance opportunities! As we compete, our focus is to do our personal BEST and to learn and apply from the critiques that competition judges gift us with. Students learn teamwork, theatre etiquette and discipline while experiencing overall growth and improvement in their own dance journey.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires admittance from TDS Instructors.
Consists of a multiple teams. Team placement is based on age and ability.
Must be a TDS student to join a team.
Must be enrolled in a TDS Combination Technique Class.
Students must be in the 3th grade or older in order to join.
Students must excel in the skill set of their weekly classes. Eligibility is determined by instructors.
Mandatory rehearsals are held one night a week. (Times to be determined at a later date). Additional Saturday rehearsals are required. Each member is allowed 1 excused absence. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Team members are required to purchase a costume for competition, which will also be used in the recital in April and range in price from $50 - $100.
